Health Assessment Course

 What have you learned so far in the course that will help you conduct effective health assessments?

During my learning sessions in nurse E-Portfolio, I have gained several clinical experiences. Several areas were covered during the study session that is expected to help me in a nursing career. Through the topics covered, I can easily participate in many clinical activities. The study covered areas including documenting professional nursing reports, facilitating growth and development in nursing, demonstrating achievement of expected nursing competencies, showing latest evidence in making nursing practice decisions as well as articulating a nursing professional philosophy. Moreover, I have learned to be patient when it comes to writing, drawing, painting and sketching various materials required in my career.

What skills do have you gained?

Through e-portfolio class, I have gained skills in different areas such as breadth and depth of a nursing work. I have acquired skills in preparing audio, visual and graphical resources for the presentation of professional progress. I have obtained skills in facilitating self-engaging practices as well as accessing effective ways in delivering better results. I have gained a skill that allows effective and efficient definitions as well as highlighting of learning outcomes in various ways that are meaningful to viewers.

Describe any areas that are still unclear and ways you will gain clarity.

Some areas that require clarifications includes understanding nursing consistency through the implementation of learner-centered education. I will also perform self-guided research in areas that facilitate the effective and efficient demonstration of E-Portfolio as required by students within School of Nursing. My future areas that I  shall emphasize includes planning, designing, developing and presenting the finished portfolio within required time using examples from non-nursing courses, examples from School of Nursing course work, and from professional experience.
