Final Reflection Paper

Dear professor,

  I had wonderful learning session throughout the semester. I gained abundant experience, skills, and knowledge as well as new techniques and ways to write different types of essays. I appreciate the fact that each study session took time, and effort, to digest and acquired several ideas to make. I learned several parts of speech and vocabularies that applied in improving communication as well as writing official work for the future careers. I enjoyed the entire classroom material since I will ever remember all the skills and tips that Professor provided the class as preparation for future advanced studies.

Reading other students papers was helpful especially on my side.  The sessions involving discussion, group work, and bench partner studies were very interesting. They helped me to learn from my peers and understand different topics that were being discussed.  I discovered that I could perform better by responding as well as providing several solutions that perfected my communication skills, presenting, and arguments. Through checking spelling mistakes, sentence construction and building of ideas, I was capable of analyzing mistakes in other people's work and avoid similar mistakes in my writing essays.  I also found it easier giving my peer advice that also turned beneficial to my writing such as developing ideas, being more creative as well as being perfect in writing introduction and conclusion sessions in a paper.

However, there are still some parts in writing that I need to improve on. Among the most difficult and challenging areas included my performance in grammar, sentence organization and how to create a consistent flow of ideas in my writing. I had a hard time in writing about my family matters, social life essays and most of the history based stories. Reading and writing such topics created many emotions, thoughts and always affected me psychologically. I could not easily understand the social situation such as war, as well as well as some difficult situations like poverty and slavery stories that most of my classmates explained. I rarely configured the audience reactions to brutal issues.  I realized am weak in balancing amount of research information, creative writing and my personal information I always related information obtained with real life example of my personal life.

I found that the courses in all sessions are relevant and helpful in future writing skills.  It was a good start, and a foundation that will enable me to use the skills learned in advanced levels such as secondary schools, college, and higher-level learning. Throughout the rest of my life, the essay writing skills will remain my favorite scheme.

  I can strongly say that am a decent and smart writer, ready to perfect my skills.  I will seek extra time as well as a few help sources such as the Internet, the library, or through personal interview. To effectively and efficiently perfect my study I will be attending places such as the writing centers to help me in perfecting my writing skills.  Such strategies will help me in future where shall gain techniques for writing assignments with a different approach and perspective. I want to be an open-minded writer, with eloquent and interesting motives in writing appealing essays. In overall, I was very happy with the course and my progress throughout the semester.
